How to solve valve leakage in small diesel generators?

Small diesel generators have a compact structure, small size, and light weight, which is about 30% lighter than general generators. They do not require complex energy consuming devices such as excitation windings, exciters, and AVR regulators for general generators. Efficiency and power factor are about 20% higher than general generators, with super strong overload capacity. So how to solve the problem of valve leakage in small diesel generators?

Valve leakage in small diesel generators: Valve leakage in gasoline engines can cause a decrease in cylinder compression and insufficient combustion of gasoline. When the valve leakage is severe, the machine is difficult to start, and the engine speed is unstable after starting. During operation, you will hear a hissing sound, and at the same time, black smoke may be emitted from the exhaust or the carburetor may experience backfire or blowback. There are several common reasons for valve leakage: first, improper adjustment of valve clearance, second, severe valve erosion, and third, carbon buildup on the valve head or valve stem.

If valve leakage is found, the valve clearance of the small diesel generator should be visually inspected first to see if it meets the requirements. If it does not meet the requirements, adjustments should be made; If the fault persists, check if there is carbon buildup on the valve head or valve stem, and if the valve is burned. If there is carbon buildup on the valve, it should be cleaned; If the valve is burned, the valve spring, intake and exhaust valves, etc. should be removed. First, clean these parts with gasoline, then use 120 grit sandpaper for rough grinding, and then use 280 grit sandpaper for fine grinding, or use grinding sand for grinding, until the valve and valve seat are completely fitted; If the valve is severely burned, it should be reamed first.
